I am trying to download Java SE JDK 1.8.112 for Mac OSX. I keep getting redirected to the below error page( Due to my country location they cannot process my request ). I'm located in Denver, CO and checked my IP address, which shows as Denver, CO.
Things I have tried:
- Using both chrome, firefox, and safari
- Logging into my Oracle account and ensuring it shows United States as my country
- Double checking my IP on https://whatismyipaddress.com/
- Resetting my router
- Clearing my cache
When I googled combinations of the error with jdk and oracle, I was only able to find people who ran into issues in places like Guam or Cambodia, with a recommendation for them to proxy to a US location or contact the person related to their contract.
I was able to update my JRE through System Preferences: Java, but there wasn't an option to download or update the JDK. I don't think the events of the past week have caused the US to be added to the banned countries list ;).
Has anyone seen this before or have ideas on fixes?
