PHP Question

How to change php memory limit at GoDaddy

I am using godaddy Ultimate hosting plan for my website. I have cron file that required lots of php memory to finish processing. I have tried this code:

ini_set('memory_limit', '-1');
ini_set('memory_limit', '128M');

But it seems that its doing nothing. When I run the file in mozila firefox I get this error:

The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

Do I need to change any thing from my php.ini file and what should I change ?
hopefully there is a php code that I can use.
(Note: The cron file posts updates to my facebook pages. But not all of them, which means that the while loop is not getting completed.)

Shared hosts will often restrict RAM usage to prevent one user from using all of the memory. The host most likely disabled the option to self-increase the max amount of RAM and possibly ini_set itself.
