Java Question

JBoss AS not starting up on Mac OS?

I downloaded the JBoss AS 7.1.1 from here.

Set up the JBOSS_HOME and other variables as mentioned.

After that when I run

./standalone.sh
, it gets stuck on the following:

./standalone.sh

What can be the issue here?

Answer

Finally got the answer:

  1. Had to download jdk 1.7
  2. export JAVA_HOME=/usr/libexec/java_home -v 1.7``
  3. ./standalone.sh

Hope helps the future readers.
