PHP Question

Running a function in the background

I have an app in Laravel 5 that will serve as central base for two API's and will handle the synchronization between the two API's.

I would like to run the synchronization every 5 mins, even when nobody is inside the app.

Meaning I would like to run a function/script in the background every 5 mins.
Anybody know how I can do that?

Answer

yes you can do that in laravel using laravel scheduling.
