Linux Question

linux disk space figures not adding up

I realize this question has been asked a number of times but none of the solutions have helped me understand my problem.

This is the output I get from

df -h

Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
udev 16G 4.0K 16G 1% /dev
tmpfs 3.2G 812K 3.2G 1% /run
/dev/disk/by-label/DOROOT 315G 297G 2.4G 100% /
none 4.0K 0 4.0K 0% /sys/fs/cgroup
none 5.0M 0 5.0M 0% /run/lock
none 16G 220K 16G 1% /run/shm
none 100M 28K 100M 1% /run/user

I'm not sure why
has about 15G missing. I've checked for zombie files with
lsof -n | grep -i deleted
and everything looks fine.

This is the output I get from
/sbin/tune2fs -l /dev/disk/by-label/DOROOT

tune2fs 1.42.9 (4-Feb-2014)

It doesn't seem like the
Reserved Block Count
is taking up much space either.

How can I find where the 15 remaining gigs from

Reserved block count: 4194262
Block size: 4096

4096*4194262 is a bit under 16 GiB. What is the mystery?
